Who We Are & What We Do.

EspressOasis® was started in 1989 as a fundraising concept for hospitals. Our first location opened in the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals to raise money for the Auxiliary program. Since then we have generated over $250,000 in commissions for the MCV Auxiliary. In addition we have served over 20 million cups of gourmet coffee to staff, students, patients, volunteers and guests in more than 17 medical centers across the nation. In total, we have generated more than $3,000,000 for the Auxiliaries, Food Service Departments and Food management companies with which we have partnered.

Our success has been brought about by many elements, but has hinged on two key strengths. First; we combined our experience in retail coffee bars and our access to world class coffees to help one partner start his own roasting facility under the brand name of Kiariz Coffee®. That partnership allowed us to control many aspects of our business and ensure the highest quality level that we continue to maintain as a cornerstone of our service. Secondly; unlike many of our competitors, we "customize" our program to fit the needs of our customers. We have three primary programs for obtaining a gourmet coffee bar. Two of which require no financial outlay on the part of the hospital.
